Today’s model is again a departure from our usual Gunpla kits, as we continue to explore Bandai plastic model kits from the Hot-Blooded Strongest Go-Saurer (熱血最強ゴウザウラー, Nekketsu Saikyō Gōzaurā) Universe. It is Magna-Saurer, one of the iconic mecha of the series. It is one of Eldran’s robots from 64 million years back in time that was found using the Saurer Gyro that was stranded in the present time. It was brought back to the present time by Kinta to help his team-mates in battle. This continues our exploration into the Go-Saurer series.

OVERVIEW:

Just like the Go-Saurer, the Magna-saurer kit comes with a whopping 21 runners, including polycaps, though there are less repeated parts spread across the runners compared to the Go-Saurer, with a small sheet of stickers included on the side. Included with the kit is a Bandai action base 4, included among the 21 runners, with options for many different mounting pieces.

From the overview, there is a nice range of coloured parts that are used. This time, there is a significant number of green runners. Overall, this kit looks to be as promising as the Go-Saurer and we looked forward to putting it together.
